"Finally a pace that worked for me"
The lessons moved at a really comfortable pace for me. I’m the kind of person who gets lost fast if things are rushed, so I’d blame my own slow note-taking for why this style helped so much. It wasn’t too fast, and I was actually able to keep up without feeling overwhelmed

"In my opinion, the curriculum covered mostly..."
In my opinion, the curriculum covered mostly useful topics. I felt like a lot of the material was practical and actually connected to what I was hoping to learn...

"Helpful nudge to stay on track"
It gave me that extra push on the days I didn’t really feel like doing anything. Nothing over the top, just enough motivation to keep me moving and stick with my routine most days.

"I wasn’t sure what to expect at first..."
I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but I was pleasantly surprised. The certificate ended up feeling like a really good value for the money, and I’m glad I went for it.

"Helpful study material, though a little more practice would be nice"
I used Tristar Academy mostly for the study material, it was good. The notes were clear, easy to follow… and I didn’t feel like I had to read the same line five times to understand it.

Some topics had really useful examples, which made things click faster for me. I also liked that the material wasn’t too heavy or overwhelming, it felt manageable, especially when I was trying to study on my own schedule.
The only thing I’d say is that a few chapters could’ve had more practice questions. That would’ve helped a bit more with revision. But overall, it definitely helped me prepare better than if I had just studied completely on my own.

"I had a good experience with..."
I had a good experience with Tristar Academy overall. Everything was easy to follow and I wasn’t sitting there feeling lost like I have on some other sites. Support was okay too and got back to me when I needed help. I’m happy with it and I’d use it again

"Tough to follow if you’re brand new"
As a total beginner, I had a hard time keeping up. It kind of felt like I was constantly having to beg for the basics to be explained, which got frustrating after a while. I wanted to like it, but I ended up feeling a bit resentful that it wasn’t more beginner-friendly.

"Good for the price"
It was worth it for me. For the price, I can’t complain too much, though whoever runs this could definitely make a few things smoother.

"Enrollment was a total headache"
I tried signing up with Tristar Academy the whole enrollment process was kind of a mess. The form was confusing, and I had to chase them a few times just to get basic answers. The staff were polite when they finally replied, but the process felt slow, unclear, and way more annoying than it needed to be. I expected it to be simple, but it turned into a real hassle.

"I got quite a bit out of..."
I got quite a bit out of the lessons honestly. The topics were explained in a way that was easy enough to follow, and by the end I did feel more confident with the basics
A few parts could’ve used more examples, or maybe clearer step by step notes... but overall it was useful. Not perfect, but still a solid 4 stars for me

"Kind of Hit or Miss for the Price"
I was expecting a bit more from the instructors considering what it cost. Some of them were fine with the basics, but whenever I asked anything more detailed, the answers got vague or the question was kind of brushed past.
The whole thing felt a little hit or miss. A few lessons were useful, but others felt like someone was just reading through slides instead of really teaching from experience. It might be okay if you’re brand new, but I didn’t feel like I got the practical guidance I was hoping for

"I’d give Tristar Academy 4 stars. I’ve taken..."
I’d give Tristar Academy 4 stars. I’ve taken courses before where the assessments felt like they were designed to catch you out, but this wasn’t really like that. Most of the questions felt fair and matched what had actually been covered. A few could’ve been worded a little more clearly, but the grading seemed reasonable overall. I didn’t feel like I was marked unfairly, so I’d say it was a decent experience

"Pretty easy setup overall"
I signed up and got through the onboarding in maybe a few minutes or so. The steps were clear enough, and when I hit a small snag, support helped point me in the right direction. So far, I’m happy with it

"Finally, a schedule that doesn’t make life harder"
The class times were super easy to fit around my job, which was such a relief. I don’t know why so many places act like everyone has a totally open schedule, but this actually worked with real life. I could show up without feeling like I had to rearrange my entire week.

"Really nice community feeling"
I’ve been keeping an eye on Tristar Academy for a bit, and the thing that stands out to me is how much they seem to be part of the community. It’s not just like they’re posting about classes and that’s it, they actually seem to show up for people, which you don’t always see.
The coaches and staff come across as really approachable, and the events they share feel genuine. There’s just something about the way they do it that makes the place seem welcoming, like people are included and not just there to train.

"I signed up hoping for more than..."
I signed up hoping for more than just the basics, it delivered 🙂 The lessons go deep into the topics, which I appreciated. A few of them took me a bit longer to get through, but in a good way—it actually felt like I was learning something properly instead of being rushed.

"I expected a bit more"
The course wasn’t bad, and I did pick up a few things, but it felt surface-level overall. A couple of lessons seemed to circle back to the same points, and some parts could’ve used clearer explanations. For the price, I guess I just thought it would go a little deeper.

"The peer group could’ve been better"
The class itself might have been fine, but the peer group just didn’t really click for me. Most classmates barely replied, and group work ended up feeling awkward more often than not. How are you supposed to collaborate when nobody really communicates?

"Practical training that actually feels useful"
I joined Tristar Academy because I wanted to learn skills I could actually use, not just sit through a bunch of theory. Compared to a few other places I had looked into, this felt more hands-on and less like they were just trying to finish the syllabus. Most classes involved real tasks, so it was easier for me to understand and remember things.
The trainers were patient and explained everything in a simple way, which I really appreciated. They didn’t rush through topics, and I felt comfortable asking questions whenever I got stuck. Overall, it was a good experience and definitely felt worth the time.
